A Mission to Protect Children and a Commitment to End Exploitation

Defenders For Children is dedicated to protecting and saving children from abuse, exploitation, trafficking, online victimization, and other crimes against our most vulnerable.

Through education, advocacy, community engagement, and legislative efforts, we work to prevent child victimization, strengthen child protection laws, support law enforcement, and stop predators before they can harm another child. Our mission is to empower families, educate children and adults, and inspire communities to take an active role in creating a safer future for every child.​

We accomplish our mission by creating innovative programs and public awareness initiatives that educate communities about child abuse prevention, online safety, human trafficking,  responsible parenting, and protecting children from sextortion and exploitation. Through our websites, social media platforms, public service announcements, educational campaigns, community events, training programs, and strategic partnerships, we provide resources that encourage adults, teens, businesses, schools, civic organizations, and communities to become active participants in protecting children.

Together with law enforcement, community leaders, corporate partners, volunteers, and supporters, Defenders For Children is building a nationwide movement that protects children, strengthens communities, supports those on the front lines, and ensures every child has the opportunity to grow up safe, secure, and free from abuse.
