Defenders For Children started as a grassroots outreach to help educate the public on the horrible growing problem with child abuse.
Based out of Greenville, SC Defenders for Children, a non-profit organization, has attracted the attention of celebrities, large companies, and organizations for their continuing creative efforts to make a positive impact in the lives of men, women, and children who have been or are a victim of child abuse.
Defenders is targeting the male demographic who are the leading cause of neglect, physical, and sexual abuse among America's youth. This organization has also created a subsidiary organization known as One Step Stronger completely headed up by teens who will be taking a journalistic approach to spreading the word with the goal to reduce child abuse and make a difference for the next generation.
By using a social media platform, through Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Youtube, Defenders goal is to reach those in need on an international level.
