Mark Berry is a native of Greenville, SC. He received his undergraduate education at Lees-Mcrae College where he majored in Communications with an emphasis on video production. After graduation he began building relationships and serving clients in Upstate, performing various production and management roles for Greenville Hospital System's broadcast department, WYFF News 4, and local small businesses. Since those early years, he now operates as Check Mark Productions LLC, where he has served regional, national, and international clients through strategic storytelling. Whether it's producing a case study for an industry partner, or creating content for a capital campaign, he has repeatedly provided measurable value to his clients. A welcomed by-product of this journey has been an exposure to various non-profits and their missions. Mark has partnered with numerous non-profits across the country to help communicate to their donor base in the most effective way possible. From traditional Gala-style events, capital campaigns, to donor outreach initiatives; non-profit mission work has grown to be Mark's favorite part of his career. Defenders For Children caught his attention from day one. After witnessing the synergy between Law Enforcement agencies, child safety advocacy, and community partners, he knew he wanted to be a part of this incredible mission. Outside of work he enjoys helping to manage and run The Greenville Ballet school (with his better half).
